Carlsbad Village recently hosted its Art Hop, a spin-off of the long-running Carlsbad Art Walk. The evening was a celebration dedicated to the arts with live music, refreshments, and interactive activities.

More than 100 artists displayed their work throughout a variety of different pop-up art galleries in the courtyard. With three locations as part of the Art Hop (The Foundry Artist Studios, Viz Art Ink Gallery, and the Carlsbad Village Faire) each featuring different artists, attendees were able to hop from one location to another and enjoy what each artist and location had to offer. The Foundry was home to the egg crafting project, led by Village artist Bryan Snyder, where participants could paint and design their eggs in time for Easter. From sculptures and jewelry to paintings and multi-media pieces, the Carlsbad Village Art Hop had a something for everyone.

The next Art Hop will be on June 28. For more information visit www.carlsbad-village.com.
